Changing the output channels in the mixer didn't work for that, possibly because I was doing something wrong, but anyway, I ended up using the Drum Kit mixer to adjust volume, pan, and compress where needed, then applied some EQ on track 1. (Which, in my opinion, it is, but that's just me.)ĭragging and dropping the intro's beats and fills that I wanted from the MT Drum Kit, to track 1, then going into "Actions" and exploding the midi notes to separate tracks did that for me, but left me with the problem of not being able to control volume and effects on those exploded tracks. So in case it proves helpful to future noobs such as myself, here's what I finally came up with.Īll this started because I wanted to have the midi data for each drum cymbal etc from the drum kit appear on a separate track, thinking it would be easier to edit the midi data that way.
